Social Studies project:
Children who were pilgrims and Native Americans did not use cars to ride around like we do today. They had to walk or ride horses to get around. Pilgrims and Native Americans could not go to the grocery store to get food like we do. They had to plant seeds to grow food. They did not have TV so they had to play with dollies. Their clothes came from animal skins and their homes were very different from our homes. Native Americans lived in teepees.

The animal I choose is a grizzly bear.
The grizzly bear can have a brown, red or blonde silver tipped pelt.
The grizzly bear starts it’s hibernation season in November, and is really starving when it wakes up in the spring.
The grizzly lives in the woods and cannot fly.

Pilgrim children probably walked everywhere they went, the didn’t have cars or bikes. The native american children didn’t have cars or bikes either, but they probably had horses to ride.
Both the native american and pilgrim children helped their parents with the crops so they would have plenty of food to eat. They couldn’t just run to Food City like we do.
There were no video games so the children had to make up games with their friends. They probably played with sticks and rocks and the clothes they wore were very different. The native american children wore animal skins and feathers and the pilgrim children wore pants and dresses with aprons.
The native americans lived in teepees and the pilgrim children lived in log homes.

Pilgrim and Native American children used horse and buggy for transporataion. They didn’t have gas powered cars like we do.
Pilgrim and Native American kids had to hunt and fish for their food. Now we can go to grocery stores and drive-thrus to get food.
Both Pilgrim and Native American kids didn’t have television or video games to play for fun like we do now.
They use to live in teepees, not brick or wood houses like now.
Our clothes are a lot different now than what they use to be. Pilgrim and Native Americans use to wear animal skins that they would hunt. They couldn’t go and buy clothes like we do now.
