Spelling
All spelling lists are listed on this page by theme number. Our spelling unit does not start until around October. Please practice spelling words each night in preparation for our test. To administer our spelling test, I will say the word, dictate a sentence using the word, then repeat the word. Our test will consist of current words, two review words from previous lists, and your child’s ability to write two dictated sentences using spelling/capitalization/punctuation rules. Generally, our spelling tests are on Fridays. I will notify you of any changes in the date of our testing.
