Science / Social Studies
Our schedule for studying Science and Social Studies is somewhat flexible to allow our concentration to be Reading and Math. Most of our Science and Social Studies work will be done at school. The majority of Science and Social Studies grades will consist of projects, in-class participation, games, etc. Some topics will be taught on an on-going basis throughout the year. Spring Session:
- Map Skills (Equator, Sphere, Washington D.C., Bristol, Continents, Oceans, etc.)
- Symbols of the United States
- The Sun
- The Earth/The Earth’s Rotation
- Natural Resources
- Recycling/Reducing/Reusing/Pollution
- Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Independence Day
